An interesting phenomenon to study is the Silawana Hyang Sari Temple in Karangasem because it is less well known by most Hindus in the local district, but Hindus who often come to ngayah and pray at the temple come from outside Karangasem Regency. In this regard, the purpose of the study is to analyze the history/mythology of the establishment of the temple, the palinggih structure and its piodalan procession. In this study, a qualitative approach was used, the determination of purposive sampling subjects with qualitative data types, primary and secondary data sources. Data collection used observation, interview and document study methods, while data processing used descriptive methods, inductive and argumentative analysis techniques. The results of the study show that the history/mythology of the Silawana Hyang Sari Temple was once a hermitage of Danghyang Brahma (Danghyang Gnijaya), estimated to have been built by Mpu Kuturan in the 11th century, adopting the one mandala type (ekabhuwana) with the palinggih structure arranged in a circle in the east, north, west and south. The piodalan ceremony is held every six months, culminating on Wednesday Kliwon Pahang.
